Valentine's Day Red

The day is upon us! The one where we celebrate love in its wide variety of manifestations, from day-old crush to decades-old devotion. Appreciating friends, family, lovers and everyone in between. I think it's great to have a day like this because as the old ballad goes, "what the world needs now is love, sweet love"! Patrick and I celebrated last weekend thinking we would be busy the night of, but have become unexpectedly free this evening. Which would make it the first Valentine's Day since marriage that we can celebrate together day-of. Patrick is a CPA and February 14 fell right on his busiest season so we moved it to a weekend night or something every year. The sentimentalist in me is delighted to get to enjoy the actual day with him. There's something about everyone celebrating on the same day that gets a little buzz in the air. So whatever your day may look like this evening, may you feel loved and adored. I'd love to leave you with this, one of my favorite Bible verses, because there's One whose love for each and every one of us individually is forever unparalleled and completely unconditional.
