New in : Hair Chalk

"It's a compulsion. I'm always changing parts of me. Even when I was young, I wanted to change my hair color. I was so determined that I dyed my hair with Kool-Aid." - Rachel McAdams
I have always wanted to dye my hair, but every time there is something that puts me off. I hate the idea of doing anything to damage my long locks (we have a lovely relationship, I wouldn't want to harm that). And I certainly don't fancy nasty regrowth and the constant maintenance. If you follow my tumblr, you may have noticed my obsession with the pastel hair trend a few months back. I fell in love with the idea of 'hair chalk' and being able to temporarily colour your hair easily at home. However, it wasn't until recently that I actually found some hair chalk at my local Farmers. My hair isn't blonde, but not too dark either so it worked reasonably well. The best part? it comes out in just a few washes (definitely has my mums approval).
Skirt : Thrifted Singlet : Gap Shoes : Windsor Smith The pack of hair chalk I bought is from Vixen and was only about $12. It has a rainbow of colours, but I was immediately drawn to the pink tones and have yet to try all of them. Let me know if you own any hair chalk and leave a comment below with what you think!
P.S This stuff can get messy so gloves and old towels/pillow cases are a must!
