Hey there Miss 99%

Monday is commonly seen as the most dreaded day of the week. However this week, it was a really exciting for day for me. I was invited back to my high school to attend a scholarship assembly. I was super shocked to discover I was one of only two year 13 students receiving an award. Even more shocking, my name was called to the stage last as the top student of level three for 2013. Tara received the same award back when she left high school and I just had to share my exciting news here on the blog.
This is what I wore to the ceremony; please excuse the cheeky smile in some of these photos, I was a tad over excited ;)

The scholarship is awarded to students who achieve over 95% excellence over their top 80 credits (sorry if your not from NZ and dont speak NCEA gibberish). After scoring 99%, my family has taken to calling me '99'. And I must say, I do like the nickname ;)
