Purple pants and blazers

Ok, yes I did just quote myself, but let me explain. Last month during a cruel early morning uni class, I had the sudden urge to wear my outrageous, comfy purple pants. I often call them my 'barney' pants, but there is something that I love about this crazy thrifted item. Of course purple pants are a bit of a challenge to style, I mean really, purple pants? I got as far as putting on a singlet but in my sleep deprived state, my mind when blank with what else to wear. About to miss my bus, I quickly threw on a simple brown blazer. I was pleasantly surprised that afternoon when my best friend told me how much she loved my outfit. After I told her about my morning struggle we had a few laughs and finally said to her "Well, when in doubt, put a blazer on it". After a long day of uni I thought it was a great joke and my friend was just like "omg, you should write a post on that!".
And so here we are.

So kids, that is my great fashion wisdom for today. When in doubt put a blazer on it. A simple blazer can dress up any outfit and even make purple pants look cool.
