I love matte liquid lipstick products but they're pretty hard to get here. I was obsessed with the texture and color payoff of my Velvetines so I was curious to see how this budget friendly version from Bornprettystore would fare in comparison.

22 is my favorite shade among the bunch. It reminds me of my Rihanna Mac Heaux Lipstick. This shade will flatter most skintones.
22 when worn. It's a bit darker than this in real life, check swatch at the top.
30 is a brownish nude that is perfect for everyday use. This is great if you want a long lasting nude color that wont budge.

33 is a dupe for Lime Crime Wicked Velvetines. Idk why the color looks different on camera but I have both and the colors look the same.

29 looks too orangey in the photos below, A more accurate representation of the color is the swatch on the top of this page. I think this is a dupe for Lime Crime's Red Velvet if you check the swatch above.

Pros
- Very pigmented (you get opaque color with one swipe)
- So many shades to choose from! 36 colors to be exact! (compared to other brands)
- They have dupes for some Lime Crime Velvetines shades
- Very affordable! $3.55 dollars
- Long lasting
- Easier to apply- has a thicker consistency than Velvetines
Cons
- Can be drying since this is really matte and long lasting
- Applicator wand is not that precise (use a lip brush to apply this on the outlines of your lips instead)
Overall Take
I definitely love these lippies! I plan to get more colors from this range. The shades are just beautiful, plus the color payoff and price is hard to beat.
