The Edit: Summer Floral Dresses

I’ve been bitten by the dress bug this summer. Sure, I love my masculine pieces as much as the next girl, though I find my most androgynous pieces are better suited for fall. Masculine accessories, like edgy loafers, are a-okay, as long as they’re paired with girly outfits. Maybe this summer has brought out the girl in me, but all I want to do is just wear dresses every single day. From snazzy shirtdresses to comfortable shifts, a great summer dress is as much a must-have in a girl’s wardrobe as a great pair of jeans, or a utilitarian pair of flats.

To up the ladylike factor, I’ve been even more obsessed with floral dresses. I’m not talking about your average floral print either — from moody florals to tropical prints, a great flower-y dress is all a girl needs in her wardrobe this summer. Depending on the cut and silhouette, they really work their magic: from a darker floral for nighttime, to a more punchy hue during the day.
