The Weekly Haul: An Endless Summer

If you’re anything like me, you probably get really wistful around this time of year. With August creeping up, it serves as a reminder that summer doesn’t last forever — in fact, we have only a little bit over a month left of (mostly) sunny days, beaches, and shorts. Sure, New York might not get truly cold by mid-to-late October, but I’m still a little upset that summer just seemed to go by so quickly.

In order to preserve some of that early-summer charm, I started bringing out my most summer-y items. Be it a highlighter-yellow pair of Keds that I only wear once it’s at least 90 degrees out, or a hot pink lip (NARS Schiap comes to mind) that I swipe on the moment summer hits, I’m striving to make summer last forever. I’m picking up a couple of new goodies, as well — a do-it-all embroidered jumpsuit, a white-and-gold watch, and a pair of neon-bright sandals that keep summer going just a tad longer.
