The Early Bird: NARS Teams Up With Barney’s

Let’s talk about that cliched (yet ever-so-enlightening) desert island situation. Say you were stranded, and could only pick one makeup brand to carry with you, which one would be your go-to? Forget food and water — we discuss the important things here.

For me, that brand always has and always will be NARS. They’re truly the holy grail when it comes to just about any form of cosmetic: be it foundation (Sheer Glow all the way!) to an amazing luminizer (all hail Copacabana), they’re a brand that can really do no wrong. Their bread and butter, to me, has always been their lipsticks and blushes. The pigmentation and variety is some of the best I’ve seen in any brand, plus with names like Deep Throat and Orgasm, it’s hard not to fall in lust love.

To celebrate the brand’s 20th anniversary, NARS has unveiled a new collection of lipsticks, dubbed the Audacious Lipstick Collection. The 40 shades are a must-have for just about any lippie junkie — from everyday pinky-nudes to vampy violets, this collection truly has it all.

The news get even sweeter: NARS has partnered with Barney’s to release ten exclusive shades, ranging from the wild to the wearable. Score!
