What to Wear: First Day of School

Chances are, in the next couple of weeks, you’ll have to strap on your backback, grab your pens, and partake in the ritual of going back to school. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably pumped by the idea — though by the time early October rolls around and tests and papers begin to pile up, you’ll wish you were back on vacation. Always happens, doesn’t it?

Regardless of how prepped your backpack and summer reading list is, you’re probably still anxious about the ever-important question of what you’ll wear on that fateful first day back. Do you dress summery to show off your tan, or show off your newly-acquired fall goodies? Or, better yet, do you opt to strike down the middle?

Your first day of school look should reflect something that’s inherently you. If you’re all about comfort, opt for a pair of cool slouchy printed pants, or a tee-shirt dress. If you are more of a solid type of girl, stick to what you know, but mix in a fun printed bag to balance out the look.
