It all started in line.
The line that wrapped around the block ( but not really ) at Starbucks this morning.
Three people in front of me order caramel .
Mmmkay…
And then to make matters worse a ten year-ish boy in back of me orders a strawberry CRAPPuccino.
IS THIS REAL LIFE?
Usually I would whistle, advert my eyes elsewhere, & act like I heard nothing but today was different.
Different because…I just can’t.
To tell you the truth, I’m surprised Frappuccinos are even legal. They’re honestly filled with so many nasty-ass GMO’s/chemicals that I’m shocked they don’t use Frapps as car fuel…actually- false, I’m surprised they’re not used as rat poison.
Ok, so today I’m taking a stance against Frappuccinos.
After sweating & perspiring ( wouldn’t you if four people in line casually ordered a Frappuccino? ), I ran ( ran, ran ) to the local health food store & stocked up on TSC Frapp essentials:
1.} 1 packet of vanilla chia Vega plant based protein powder
2.} 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
3.} A couple shakes of pumpkin pie spice
4.} 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
5.} 1/2 banana
6.} 1 splash of organic vanilla extract
7.} 2 tablespoons of chia seeds ( FIBER!!! )
Directions: add a handful of ice & blend. Add a cute pixy straw to sex it up.
Phew!!!
Soooo glad to get that off my chest.
This drink is seriously amazing if you’re in a pinch & need something filling ( << the chia seeds x the 15 grams of protein really get the job done ).
And promise, you won’t miss Frappuccinos at all.
