Doggie Food Drive : )

Hi guys!

Let’s talk CHARITY!

I have been looking for the right charity to team up with for the past couple months. It was really important to me that the charity is 1. something I’m passionate about and 2. something that has potential to grow in to something that makes a difference and 3. HAS TO DO WITH DOGS!

So ta-da.

I’ve found the perfect charity!! SOOOO EXCITED!

The Skinny Confidential is teaming up with Dirty Dogs in San Diego to support the Rancho Coastal Food Drive. Last year Dirty Dogs raised 3,500 pounds of food for people who cannot afford food for their pooches. Our goal this year is 5,000 pounds. Dirty Dogs ( << they have four locations in SD ) is offering HUGE discounts too for dog owners.

Another thing I love about Dirty Dogs is that they have a spa-like atmosphere that doesn’t break the bank. Think: Whole Foods for dogs…but inexpensive. Cool right? All their food is grain free, no corn/wheat/soy, no animal by products. Food treats are sourced and made in the U.S.A. We have a wide range of food options include Raw, dehydrated, freeze dried, kibble, & cans. Uhhhhh…YES! Plus they support the community with hosting adoption events, fundraisers, donations, & doggie education.

By the way, no one is sponsoring this post, we just really want to spread awareness & help the pooches!

So ya wanna participate? Please do!

Come say hi tomorrow!! I’ll be at Dirty Dogs grand opening for store #4 in Carlsbad, CA with Pixy Bean and T.Boone Pickens around noon. All products are 20% off too so it’s kind of a win/win. They’re also offering free nail trims & self serve dog washes.

Stay tuned for more because The Skinny Confidential is going to be a full time participant in Dirty Dogs Foundation & I WOULD LOVEEEE for you guys to get involved. E-mail me if you’re interested at Lauryn@TheSkinnyConfidential & I’ll send you the details. More

here too.

x Lauryn

{ P.S. side story: see Pixy above under the white curtain? She hid under there for an hour thinking Michael & I couldn’t see her. She watched us from an afar, perched like a gargoyle, staring behind the see-through curtain with her long pink nails. We laughed so hard. Like, is she for real??? Ha. }
