Tole and Topiaries

I have two of these tole planters that belonged to my Mom. I have been thinking about adding a topiary to each one. Over the weekend while I was in Austin, I found a pair of topiaries at Pier One. The size seemed to be perfect so into the cart they went.

I love the ball shaped topiaries.

I think they are right at home on the mantel in the living room along with the Staffordshire dogs.

Okay ~ that's done. Now on to the next project. There is always a next project isn't that so?

Bentley had lots of fun in Austin. We stayed at the Omni Barton Creek Resort. Lots of great golf and lots of families. Bentley was a big hit with all the kids. They loved him and he loved them back.
