ETUDE House Play 101 Liners Pt. 2

ETUDE House Play 101 Liners

You may remember my initial blog post featuring Etude House's Play 101 Liners (if not, refresh your memoryhere!). I was so enamored with the initial set of liners they provided that I just had to have more. When each one could multi-task as a liner, lippie, blush and more, how I could resist the $5.50 price tag?!
Initially I have a pretty safe set of shades to work with – lots of neutral to play it dafe for both eyes and face. This time, I decided to go for a more colorful bunch. I picked the following shades:
  • 37 – Matte pastel aqua
  • 39 – Shimmery olive green
  • 38 – Satin emerald green
  • 31 – Shimmery pewter
  • 19 – Matte fuchsia (great for the lips)
  • 18 – Matte pastel lilac (good for lips, cheeks, and eyes!)

Just like the initial batch, the quality of each of these liners is stellar! They apply smoothly, blend easily, and dry down concretely. They don't move until you say so! Shade 19 is the first one I've tried using on my lips, and I was impressed with the lasting results there as well. Like many lip liners, these aren't hydrating. But they can be used to create great barriers that prevent other lip colors from bleeding, or a long-lasting, all-over lip color that almost primes the lips. Yet another batch of pencils that deserves a long hard look from every liner-lover!

Head over to Kpoptown to check out the shade range – they even include the multiple uses each shade can provide in case you are looking for a liner for a specific purpose. Have you tried any yet?
