PHOTOPOESÏ

dagarna är som om någon lagt ett silverlock över dem,
det är vackert på något vis, men inte helt lätt att fotografera i.
jag har en brasa ständigt brinnande, drömmer om att
jag på något sätt ska lyckas övertala pappa att bygga ett
större badrum här i studio'n; med plats för ett stort, gammalt badkar,
en andra öppning i murstocken för eld på bubbelbads-avstånd,
~ & kanske ett glastak som regnet kan smattra mot
och silverlocket komma alldeles till sin rätt.
jag rotar djupt i mina bild-mappar och dricker så mycket
kardemumma-kaffe med mjölk att jag får lätt huvudvärk
och måste ta mig för pannan. det är så värt det.

i bildmapparna finns bland annat det här,
ett foto-jobb jag döpte till photo poesi och som kom ut i ett
norskt magasin i vintras. precis som jag berättade för dem då,
inspireras jag enormt mycket av texter. och ibland får
orden följa med och också höra till bilden när den printas
på fine art paper, ~ & då och då får hänga uppe ett slag, omge
mig i studio'n och kanske inspirera till nya tankar,
i enklare varianter; mest för mig själv.

idag har Ni mailat mig efter att jag lade ut
’midas touch’ på instagram, ~ & ja, den kommer jag
att sälja som stora tryck. jag har själv hängt upp provtrycket
här i studion och nu ska den få lite sista fix, sedan ska vi se vart
den kan komma att säljas. vad mer har jag till salu? undrar
några av Er, ~ & två av fotografierna ur ’a mad girl's love song’
ser Ni här ovan. kanske skymtade några av Er ’helena’
i jenny hjalmarson boldsen’s hem i danska RUM i vintras
{där är den så fin att jag blir helt matt av lycka}..
de, och de andra tre ur den serien, tryckta på coola
materialet tyvek, säljs hos love warriors.

där finns också en limiterad serie fotografier,
som är numrerade, signerade, ~ & tryckta på ett
fantastiskt 300 grams bomullspapper från hahnemühle.

och så fine art kalendern för 2014, som det ska finnas
några exemplar kvar av. det är väl det som kom till i tryckt form 2013..
och inför detta nya år, har arbetet redan pågått sedan i höstas,
med det som ska bli en serie warriors around the world,
i samarbete med världens bästa sara. och en hel massa annat
ska det också bli. det ligger där framme och lockar.
har jag sagt att jag älskar det jag gör?
det gör jag. ända ner i tåspetsarna.

jag hoppas att Ni har saker som ligger där framme,
i det nya året, som lockar; att längta efter.
jag har lovat, inuti, att jag ska försöka överraska mig själv i år,
och att jag ska göra många magiska misstag.

the days are as if someone’d put a silver lid over them,
it is beautiful in some way, but not easy to photograph in.
i’ve got a fire constantly going, dream that i’ll
somehow manage to persuade my father to build a
larger bathroom here in the studio; with room for a deep, old bathtub,
a second opening in the fireplace; from bubble bath-distance,
~ & maybe a glass roof the rain can trickle against, and where
that silver lid could come right into its own.
i dig deeply into my photo folders and drink so much
cardamom coffee with milk, that i get a concrete cap, right
on top of the silver lid. it is so worth it.

in the photo folders i find, among other things, these images.
a photo piece i named photo poetry and that appeared in a
norwegian magazine last winter. just like i told them then,
i’m inspired, so much, by the written word. poetry, lyrics, novels.
and sometimes the words come along and also belong to the actual image
when it is printed on fine art paper, ~ & occasionally posted on my
studio walls, where perhaps they inspire new thoughts,
suspended in simpler versions; mostly just for me.

today you’ve e-mailed me after i posted ’midas touch’
over on instagram, ~ & yes, i’m planning to sell that one
as a larger print. i’ve hung the 1st test copy here
in the studio and now i’ll go back and give it some last tlc,
then we'll see where it’ll be sold.
do i have more work for sale? some of you wonder.
and two of the photographs from 'a mad girl's love song' that
you can see here above, and the other three from that series,
printed on the very cool material tyvek, ~ are sold via
swedish brand love warriors {and they ship worldwide}.

there is also a limited edition series of photographs,
which is numbered, signed, ~ & printed on a
fantastic 300 gram, 100% cotton rag from hahnemühle
{seen in four of the photographs above & sold here}.
for you lovely aussies, there’s stunning les interieurs,
in sydney, who carry the love warriors brand,
and my fine art photography prints.

and then there’s the fine art calendar for 2014,
which there should be a few copies left of.
and that's pretty much what 2013 brought, in printed form..
and as for this new year, work has already been going on since last fall,
with what will be a photo series of warriors around the world,
in collaboration with sara, best in the world.
and a whole bunch of other things is up. laying there waiting,
in our tomorrows, alluring; to be longed for.
did i tell you i love what i do for a living?
i do. inside out.

i hope you have things laying there in front of you,
in your tomorrows, on this new year, which entices; to be longed for.
i’ve promised, on the inside, i'll try to surprise myself this year,
and that i will seek many magical mistakes.
