This summer, my husband and I participated in the On Deck Art Show in Saratoga Springs. This will be our second time participating in this unique show to raise funds for a local skate park (established by Benj & Belinda Colon in 2012). Each artist is given a blank skate deck and encouraged to let his/her imagination run wild. At the time, I was knee deep in developing a new product line so I thought it would be fun to transfers some of that energy onto my deck. Since much of my current work is geared towards kids and babies. I envisioned this piece working well above a crib or adding a bit of whimsy to a child’s room. Honestly, the artwork could work well in a living room, hallway, etc.
