Guacapocalypse??? Not hardly.
If you’ve seen any news lately, you’ve probably heard about the impending “Guacapocalypse” and a shortage of our beloved avocados. Well, never fear! I have the great fortune of working with Avocados From Mexico (you may have seen my delicious guacamole post recently {Bacon and Blue Cheese Guacamole}), and after a quick chat with them I wanted to let you know that you have no need to worry – avocados are available as always. In fact, Mexico’s rich volcanic soil, abundant sunshine, and timely rainfall provide the perfect climate for producing fine avocados at optimum flavor all year round. So don’t worry!
