Lasagna Casserole: Disconnect to Reconnect

If you’ve been following my blog for any time, then you’ve more than likely heard my speech about the importance of home-cooked meals and getting your family to the table. So, when I heard about J.M. Smucker Company’s new Disconnect to Reconnect initiative, I knew I had to be a part of it. The truth is, we are ALL so consumed with screens these days – be they screens on televisions, tablets, smart phones, etc. I grew up having dinner with my family nearly every night. It was a time for us to chat about our days and connect as a family. Today’s screen distractions prevent folks from reconnecting and keep us each engrossed in our own little worlds. I challenge you to set aside one night every week to sit down as a family for a home-cooked meal without any distractions. Turn off the electronics and just be a family. Disconnect to Reconnect.

Take the pledge!

This delicious and easy recipe for Lasagna Casserole has all the great flavor of the classic dish, but without all the work. It’s a great, hearty recipe that will help you get supper on the table quickly so you can disconnect to reconnect. {Keep scrolling for the giveaway!}
