ELF Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
ELF Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder ($3 / Php299 locally) has been dubbed as the drugstore counterpart of NARS Laguna/Orgasm dupe since ever. Seeing as the price is cheap enough for me to not regret buying it even if I didn't like it, I thought I'd try it out for myself.
(Apologies for the wet hair, I was running late when I took these photos, and couldn't care less about my hair (as usual) or anything else, really.)
The blush, a versatile warm pink shade, does not show up on my skin unless I pack it on. The bronzer is a great shade to contour but a bit too pigmented that you really need to be careful when you apply it if you don't want to look like you pack on mud on your face. The color is also quite on the orange-side, so blending is the key.
The easiest way to put it bronzer on, is to apply the "3" method - which is... well, gliding your brush in a "3" motion. Start from your temples down to your cheeks, then head downwards even more towards your jawline. Do that twice; works every time.
I like this kit for its price, it's something I can see myself recommending to other people. I have no doubts that there are much better blush/bronzing kit out there, for those with a very tight budget, this is a great deal for you.
