Sunset in Santorini

For the first outfit post of August, I wanna travel with you, at least with my mind...let's go to Santorini, one of the most beautiful places in the world, with a beautiful sea and a set of tiny white houses. Unfortunately I am still in my town, but this lovely Chicwish midi skirt is here to help me in my daydream, together with a funky denim hat and a fun tee that reminds me I am a fashion blogger, maybe because lately it seems I almost forgot about it, because, working for too many hours in a row, I had to neglect my poor blog, but things are slowly getting back to normal !.
Per il primo outfit di agosto, voglio viaggiare con voi con la mente...andiamo a Santorini, uno dei posti più belli del mondo, con un mare stupendo e tante piccole casette bianche. Purtroppo sono ancora nella mia città, ma questa adorabile gonna midi Chicwish mi aiuta nei miei sogni ad occhi aperti, insieme ad un grazioso cappellino in denim e ad una tee che mi ricorda di essere una fashion blogger, forse perché ultimamente sembro essermene dimenticata, ho dovuto infatti trascurare un po' il blog a causa dei troppo impegni di lavoro, ma le cose stanno, seppure lentamente, tornando alla normalità !.

I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I saw it on Chicwish, one of my favorite webshops ! The print is perfect, the colors scream summer and it is very versatile in spite of being a statement piece. It looks like a painting, isn't it gorgeous ? I decided to pair it with a simple white tee with a print, to make it more casual, but it would look totally ok with a more elegant top. The skirt is midi lenght and is pleated. It fits true to size, or just a tad smaller than usual. I am wearing a size S.
Mi sono innamorata di questa gonna non appena l'ho vista su Chicwish, uno dei negozi online dove compro più spesso ! La stampa è perfetta, i colori sono super estivi e la gonna è molto versatile seppure particolare. Sembra un quadro, non è una meraviglia ? Ho deciso di abbinarla ad una semplice tee bianca con stampa, per rendere il tutto più casual, ma starebbe benissimo anche con un top più elegante. La gonna è midi ed è anche a pieghe. Veste abbastanza fedelmente alla taglia, o è solo un po' più piccola del solito. Io indosso una S e mi calza a pennello.

I have got plenty of white tees in my closet, they are always useful and also easy to match. This one, from Kontatto, with the writing "fashion blogger", was purchased on sale. I found it cute, also because it's like a sort of confession I'd like to make to many people that know me in my everyday life and don't know about my blog ! I am not eager to tell everyone that I have a fashion blog, and in spite of being a blogger I am quite jealous of my privacy. Also, we should never forget the ironic side of life: often, fashion bloggers are described as people living on a permanent holiday and eating only a small part of what they picture on their Instagram pages. Well, I've been dreaming about a true vacation for a long time now, and one of my biggest consolations at night is eating a maxi cup of ice cream, ahahah ;).
Ho diverse magliette bianche nel mio guardaroba, le trovo sempre molto utili e di facile abbinamento. Questa, Kontatto, con la scritta "fashion blogger", è stata acquistata a saldo, l'ho trovata carina, anche perché potrei indossarla come una sorta di pubblica confessione. Molte persone che mi conoscono nella mia vita di tutti i giorni non sanno, infatti, che ho un fashion blog, principalmente per un mio strano senso della privacy. Inoltre, è bene non dimenticarsi mai del lato ironico dei fatti: spesso dipingono i "fashion blogger" in tono denigratorio, come persone che trascorrono la vita in vacanza e mangiano solo parte di ciò che fotografano su Instagram. Beh, io sogno una vera vacanza da troppo tempo e ultimamente la più grande consolazione che ho alla sera è una maxi vaschetta di gelato, ahahah ;).

This outfit would be perfect for an afternoon in a holiday place, with its sun and sea colors. I decided to go for a yellow and white clutch bag, you can see it better in the pic above. I decided to add a handmade statement necklace and a cute denim fedora hat I bought at Stradivarius. As shoes, I had my new slingbacks bought on sale, love the blue patent leather...will I ever get tired of buying shoes ? I don't think so !.
Questo outfit sarebbe perfetto per un pomeriggio di vacanza, con i suoi colori che ricordano sole e mare. Ho deciso, come borsa, di optare per una clutch bianca e gialla, potete vederla meglio nella foto sopra. Ho deciso di abbinare altri accessori particolari, come una statement necklace fatta a mano ed un grazioso cappello in denim modello fedora, preso da Stradivarius. Come scarpe, ho calzato le mie nuove slingback prese a saldo, adoro la pelle vernice blu. Mi stancherò mai di comprare scarpe ? Non credo proprio !.

Ok, I can stop dreaming for now. I love the sunset in my town and it's also my favorite moment to take pictures for my blog, but of course I'd prefer to wake up in Santorini tomorrow, instead of having to go to work !. I would just like to sit in a place like that and admire the landscape, taking things slowly. What about you ? Where would you want to go ?.
Ok, posso smettere di sognare per adesso. Adoro il tramonto anche dalla mia città ed è il mio momento preferito per le foto del blog, ma ovviamente preferirei svegliarmi a Santorini domani, invece di iniziare un'altra giornata di lavoro ! Vorrei semplicemente sedermi ad ammirare il paesaggio, prendendo le cose con calma. Che mi dite di voi, dove scappereste via per un po' ?.
