[Project Dress Code] Feature # 2 - Jessica Ricks (Hapatime)

Today, I give you yet another "episode" of this blog's section called Project Dress Code. I've been rather busy with work and life (for real) so these scheduled posts come to you instead. And while I wished to keep this section on a more regular basis; I guess I can do it monthly instead. You've seen my own version of it before: Dress Code Policy: Love It? Hate It? Whatnots? And last June 2013 was the first feature I made - (Project Dress Code) Feature # 1 - Camille Co and Win a Michael Kors Ladies Watch. This July, I give you yet another webisode featuring another blogger who inspired me in my wardrobe choices. While of course I can't match all her style and clothing; her way of dressing has truly given me other options too.

Jessica R. or Jess as she's fondly called, is one of the many fashion bloggers out there who stands out because of style and charm. I first saw her in Lookbook - Hapatime and since then (I think it was early last year, 2012) I started following her looks. I wasn't so keen in following many bloggers here until mid-last year though (when I decided to socialize more from this blog hehe). Then I started following her posts. They are short and sweet and concise but definitely attracts all the attention it needs.

And today, my 2nd feature is up ... Miss Jessica Ricks of Hapatime ...

First thing I noticed about Jess is how sexy and trendy her outfits look. At first glance, you would think she's one of the paid models or contracted models of the brands she's sporting. But then later as you read her blog posts, you'll see that mostly, those are stuffs she really owned or bought and often; sent free to her being a fashion blogger. This girl really rocks, I must say!

From totally cute and sassy; to rocker chic look; to sweet casual and elegant and corporate - this girl can quickly change her looks without really changing her trademark look - there's something in her looks that shows this is really so-Jessica. Words escape me in describing it lah~ But one thing I relate with her well is that; she's also a working girl already and me being in the work place gives me that factor that I can really wear her style.

Her dressy choices and skirted looks are somehow too-short in length for me. Unless I'm as slim as her; I guess I could wear 'em. LOL. While I do find those looks extremely charming as well, I really couldn't wear 'em at the office. My feature below would showcase a few of her looks that I think suit best my work environment and that I could actually wear. Her legs are extremely sexy, mind you (unlike mine LOL). I wish I could look that way at my work place too. Hehe.

So now, let me share with you her looks that would fit my dress code ...

What do you think of this project? Do you like it? I hope so. And how about this feature with Jess? This worked for me and has transformed my way of dressing and style. I hope it helps you all as it helped me too. For fashion enthusiasts who are having a little bit of a challenge blending in or dressing the right way, this one's for you as well. Let's keep on inspiring each other! (^_^)

Can't get enough of Jess? Visit her blog at Hapatime.com and enjoy her wonderful posts and looks (^_^) I told myself I should only put two (2) looks per Dress Code day ... I still ended up putting four (4) because Jess is so awesome ... can't help but feature more looks! That's an improvement at least hehe. I used five (5) from my initial feature post for Camille.

Always remember, it's not the dress or the clothing that should define us. Whatever we do, our attitude and principles define who we are and what we are and how we work. The dressing just comes as secondary. (^_^) Keep on smiling!
