What Olivia Loved in May 2014...

It felt like May was the first proper month of summer; and the first month I was able to spend a couple of days bare legged and soaking up some good old Vitamin D. But hey, I definitely can't speak too soon, there's definitely been a fair share of showers - but fortunately due to a busy month of meetings, press days and generally running about in a fluster I've managed to stay out of most! Anyway- as always I've managed to pick up some newly loved items this month and thought I'd share them with you all- what have you been loving this month?

(1. BJÖRK & BERRIES Body Exfoliator, 2. Tarte Blush in Blissful, 3. Charles Worthington Hairspray, 4. Soap & Glory Archery, 5. Nudestix, 6. Body Shop Raspberry Body Scrub, 7. Benefit They're Real, 8. Mac Lipstick in Dangerous)
Beauty wise- May seems to have been a month of pampering, with awesome new brand BJÖRK & BERRIES (and their knee-quiveringly gorgeous fragrances) coming top of my bath time regime, with a bit of fruity goodness from the Body Shop coming in closely behind. Handbag favourites have come in the shape of this mini hairspray (if anyone has met me they'll know this is pretty integral) and MAC's Dangerous- my first ever red lippy from the brand, yes, really. I've also fallen head over heels with Soap & Glory's Archery, after spotting it in a certain Miss
Zoe's vid- and it really has changed my 'brow game. I've also adored Nudestix for both eyes and concealing (different stix, of course) which are pretty incredible if you're new to the products (check check check 'em out), as well as rediscovering They're Real- and liking it waaay more this time round- funny how that happens, isn't it? Finally, I've also loved my staple blush from Tarte more than ever- it definitely helps that it lasts all day too.
(1. Parquet Courts Light Up Gold, 2. Agent Provocateur Treats, 3. Bella Freud Candle, 4. Laduree Recipe Book, 5. Natalie Wall Illustration, 6. Tatty Devine Necklace)
In terms of the sounds of May- Light Up Gold has definitely been my go-to record, and after catching the band in February, it's definitely the album I turn to when I don't fancy anything else (it's definitely a no-skip album, if you know what I mean), so do check them out! Plus, it also makes a good baking soundtrack when have a nosey through this beautiful cookbook, care of my bestie Gemma- I'm still yet to try anything, but I'm sure that'll be one of June's mini-missions, wish me luck! On top of that, I also treated myself to this Bella Freud candle that I have been lusting after for longer than I care to mention, which smells absolutely divine, and is the ultimate bedroom treat, very exciting indeed! Let's not forget the illustration that the amazing Nat drew of Joe and I which dropped through my letterbox this month- it's safe to say it's one of my new favourite things, and her insta is well worth checking out- lady got mad skills! I also got crafty myself and made this rad Tatty Devine necklace at one of their awesome workshops to tie in with their new fast food collection (the popcorn necklace is making my world go around)- so definitely have a nosey at that! Finally, I've also eagerly been waiting to unwrap this pink box this month, which is home to the most beautiful swimsuit ever- just waiting for the perfect holiday to take it out on now...

Happy June!
