After the excitements of last week it was nice to return to normality and have a much calmer, regular week this week. No real excitements to speak of, but we still managed to do some fun things. You can get a taster of my week from my selection of daily photos:
This is always the best part of baking, isn’t it?
She’d been promised a treat if she worked hard on her reading. And since the start of term she has been working very hard on her reading, so today she got her treat. She was quite pleased.
This is my son’s comfort blanket, unimaginatively named “Lion”. When I told him his father was having a “Lie-In” he fetched him and put him in bed with Daddy!
Tomorrow the building I work in is celebrating its 35th birthday. As its my non-working day I won’t actually be in the office for the celebrations, but I did get a little taster of them on my way out this evening as my colleagues were setting everything up
With the help of my Mum I got two car loads of rubbish down to the dump today. Here’s my boot loaded up with garden rubbish. I’m glad to get it all cleared out
After weeks of research, sussing out all the options and working out what was best for our family, I booked our DisneyLand Paris holiday for next year today. I think I’m more excited than the kids!!
It’s the annual fair in our town this weekend, and we took the kids down this afternoon. Much fun was had by all
