After a calm week last week, we were right back into it this week. I was in London on Monday and Tuesday for a training course for work, which meant Wednesday was my first day in the office, and there was a LOT of catching up to do! Then after a long day on Wednesday I also had to go in to work on Thursday (usually my first non working day of the week) for a big team meeting. So I’ve had less time at home than usual, and feel like I’ve been playing catch up all week. I still managed to grab some great photos each though, and here are the ones I’ve selected as my daily photo each day:
We headed in to Manchester today to watch “Disney on Ice” (which we all really enjoyed). As we drove in this beautiful double rainbow appeared in the sky.
A two-day course in London meant a night away in a hotel today. On arrival I was told I’d received a complimentary room upgrade, and I must say the room was lovely. I’m still freaked out by this modern trend of having a glass window between the room and the bathroom. WHY?!?!
Walking from my hotel to the offices of the training course this morning I walked over the Millennium bridge. I loved the view as we approached St Paul’s Cathedral.
I can guarantee that any time one of my kids gets a new app, the other one wants to be playing it too.
Please excuse my messy kitchen in the background. It’s a work in progress!
Every Thursday my son and I get to hang around in the waiting room if our local gym for an hour whilst my daughter has her gymnastics lesson. Usually he entertains himself with his iPad, whilst I take the opportunity to get a blog post written. Today, however, he decided he was going to help me with my blogging!
Yet again he was copying what his sister was doing. Sadly the balloon didn’t last much longer after this picture was taken, and he was heartbroken about that!
