MercoBox Giveaway

Basically the only thing that’s swirling around my brain these days is homes, homes, and more homes. So instead of my usual “Thursday Thoughts” post that would be consumed with house stuff, I thought a GIVEAWAY would be a little more fun. Whaddya say?!

The awesome folks over at MercoLocal reached out to me recently to see if I wanted to try out their April MercoBox. The MercoBox is similar to the many other monthly subscription services out there, but it sends you a box full of goodies that is strictly local to the Salt Lake City area. (P.S. Those of you that are new readers, I lived in the SLC area for the past few years and just recently moved to the Phoenix area.)

Salt Lake has a ton of local small business and “mom and pop shops” that are an awesome perk to the city. I think it’s so neat that MercoLocal is supporting their local small businesses. It’s a great way to introduce people to new shops and products.

Let’s take a look at what I received in the April MercoBox:

-This Om Power Bar was probably my favorite thing in the box. It’s made with all natural, raw, and recognizable ingredients, and it’s low in sugar and high in protein. It was so delicious. No joke, it was probably one of the best nutrition bars I’ve ever had!

-This healing salve from Ashley’s Apothecary was awesome for my super dry skin. I rubbed it on my hands and cuticles every night before bed, and I loved how smooth and soft it made my hands.

-Tea cookies from Les Madeleines were another of my favorites! They were light and yummy – perfect pair to a hot (or cold!) cup of tea.

-Om Power Protein is an all natural protein powder that I used in a smoothie – great stats and tasted awesome!

-I haven’t had a chance to use the Soap Nuts yet, but I’m very intrigued by them! They are an all natural way to wash your clothes. You throw them in with your laundry, and you can use them multiple times. Kinda cool, eh?

-This Fit Me Tea is awesome! I had never heard of it before I received my MercoBox. I’ve only tried the green tea so far, but it tasted so good! I cooled it off and made it an iced tea since it’s been so hot here. It was super tasty and refreshing!

I also got some coupons and free passes to restaurants and yoga studios in the area! Fun, right?!
