a vintage inspired baby shower.

i braved the long 10 hour trip with three kids last Friday and visited my family in Indiana. the main reason i did so, was so that i could be there to celebrate my littlest sister’s soon-to-arrive baby girl! i had nothing to do with the theme or decorations, but man, were they cute and fit my sister’s personality so perfectly–vintagy, antique and full of meaningful keepsakes from both of the parents-to-be’s childhood!

chelsea (my bff and emily’s sister-in-law designed this adorable wooden sign through her Rendi business. Love it!

there were desserts all around!

a very special part of the shower was the tree where all of the guests put a short phrase or word that they committed to praying over baby Willow in the coming year. everyone hung their tag with their prayer on the tree and it is a beautiful reminder for emily and alex that many people are supporting and praying for their baby girl.

all the great decor and ideas were the work of my sister’s sister-in-laws and mother-in-law. they did such a great job and it all came together so beautifully!

being away from my sisters and their life milestones (and beautiful kids) is one of the hardest parts about moving away from Indiana. i was so happy to be able to spend this happy day celebrating with them both and can’t wait to hold that precious bundle of joy!
