If the dreary Autumnal drizzle is making you pine for summery colours then look no further as Radley has it covered with their SS15 collection. The Radley SS15 collection utilises a great palette of colours with something to suit everyone, from traditional shades of black and grey to colour pops of green and pink, all of which is inspired by different areas of London.

What’s great about the inspiration is that you can really see where they’ve taken the colours from; for example, Bloomsbury is finished in a beautiful pale grey (seriously gorgeous) that you can easily associate with the area. Whereas Camden Town contains colour play, patterns and a slight colour-clash, which again is very area appropriate. There’s textures, patterns, clean lines or more casual finishes and it’s all topped off by the first fragrance launch from the brand, but more on that in another post.

Style-wise, again, everything is covered from casual grab bags, to clutches, to cross bodys and there’s even a couple of extremely cute rucksacks available. Some of the colours used are really exciting and so on-point for the SS15 seasons, such as the Mango shade which is a bright (but not neon) yellow/mustard shade that’s just vivid enough, or the gentle take on pastel shades with Waterfall (blue), Blush (pink) and Sorbet (yellow). There’s also some incredibly pops of colour in Jade (green) and Fiesta (pink).

I’m struggling to pin down a favourite but I would have to go for Bickley in the Aluminium shade as it’s a bit like a modern take on a 60s bowling bag which I really like, plus I have a real thing for that shade of grey! If you’re someone who needs a lot of space in your bag, I recommend the well-sized large shoulder bag in Threadneedle Street, if you fancy a solid mix of sophisticated lines with colour pop then Bloomsbury in the multi variant is for you and if you prefer something a bit more casual and slouchy, Holland Park is the way to go, especially as it’s available in some gorgeous shades such as the aforementioned Mango yellow.
