And there we have it! Finally, our first video with a hair or makeup tutorial. And we’re kicking off with this awesome messy fishtail braid tutorial, from which I already showed you a preview last week. (see it here)

Here is a super easy explanation of Meghan where she tells you step by step on how to create your own (messy) fishtail braid:

Remembering that a fishtail braid is both fun AND functional, makes transitioning
from summer into fall as easy as creating the braid itself!

Step 1: Split your hair into two equal sections.
Step 2: Take a piece from the outermost part of the left side and combine it to the
right side.
Step 3: Repeat on the other side: take the outermost piece of hair from the right
side and combine it with the left side.
Step 4: Continue the steps until you’ve reached the end of your hair.
Step 5: Secure with a clear elastic.
Optional Step 6: For a messier fishtail braid, gently pull sections of the braid.
