Back on Track | Milano

So here we are again! I know I've been away for some time - two months to be exact - but I needed this little break for myself. I have been struggling for quite some time now with the question if I should continue blogging. Since I also have a full time job and a full time household to take care of, I have to admit that finding time for my blog was becoming more like an obligation than a hobby... And that is not really what I had in mind when starting my blog.
So with the beginning of the summer, I said to myself to take a little break and enjoy the sun, my friends and the holidays. And that's exactly what I did: here is a first recap of my city trip to Milan together with my sweet girl Consu.

We drove all the way to Italy and made a first stop in Como were we also stayed the first night. Our lovely hotel - Avenue Hotel at Piazzolo Terragni - gave us the opportunity to discover the beautiful city on a joyful ride with the bike. Although Italian people don't really understand the usefulness of a bicycle bell - they just keep walking without even looking behind - it really was the perfect way to discover this amazing city at the Como Lake. I immediately fell in love with it: I'm definitely going back there!

Our last day in Milan we spend sunbathing - duh!, we're in Italy! - at a public pool / beach. It was such an amazing weekend and I had the time of my life! Thank you, miss Consuela, for the best birthday present this year.
