We can't believe February has come to an end already but that means it's time for our monthly summary of what we got up to during the month. We started off February with the stressful task of redesigning our blog by ourselves with a couple of glitches at the beginning but thankfully we've gotten to grips with our new blog platform and we can now relax. Here's what you may have missed.
Week 1: Lisa made her return to Beauty Aesthetic from her trip to North America but shared a few pictures from her trip in her
Holiday Round Up. It's safe to say, it's well worth a trip back just for those burgers! While back in Scotland, it was still rather chilly so it was time to break out the
Cold Weather Skincare to keep the cold away. Flickering candles, herbal tea and some bedtime essentials made up Lisa's
Bedside Beauty post which makes you want to pull on your pjs, take your makeup off and go for a snooze. Last for any stress induced blemishes popping up,
Lush's Grease Lightning was there to zap them away.
Week 2: With Valentines Day cropping up, we started off week 2 perfecting the skin with
Laura Geller's Spackle Trio for a smooth, long lasting finish. With the love theme kicking off, Sami expressed her love for three of her favourite
Diptyque Perfumes. Plus what would a Valentines look be without long pretty lashes? The
Shu Uemura S Curlers came to the rescue, even if it was a date with Netflix. It wasn't quite a Valentines couples massage but we did take a trip to Edinburgh to
The Scotsman Hotel Aveda Spa for a nice relaxing day getting rid of our stresses.
Week 3: As nail polish addicts, we can't help but get excited over new nail trends so we looked at the
Gel Effect Nail Trend at the start of week 3 to find out which brands came out on top of the trend. Moving onto our next favourite makeup item of lipsticks, Sami went through her collection for
The Lipstick Tag and it's safe to say the lipstick spending ban is now in place. We also took a little trip into Glasgow for an
Evening With Arran Aromatics to hear all about the feel good formulas range. Our skin had some much needed pampering when we got home!
Week 4: It's a dreaded task but it has to be done, Sami showed us
How To Clean Your Makeup Brushes this week, including a handy tip on how to use up unwanted cleansers. After our lovely evening with Arran Aromatics the previous week, we gave the
Feel Good Formulas products a proper test and our skin has never felt smoother during the cold winter months! Of course the month has to end with our
February Favourites by Lisa, including products which have brightened up her month from new haircare additions to old makeup favourites.
We hope you've had a lovely February and enjoy catching up on any posts you missed. As much as we love Winter, we're very glad it's the start of Spring so we can enjoy some sunshine!
