Sinful Colors Island Coral

Sinful Colors Pearl Nail Enamel in Island Coral (£1.99, Boots)
In my opinion, pink is the hardest shade to get right when it comes to nail polish. Even the high end brands struggle, so when I found a budget brand get the consistency right it was pretty darn impressive. I've featured quite a few more expensive polishes on NOTW so I thought I'd give Sinful Colours a chance to shine this week. If you haven't heard of them, they basically do a wide range of shades for £1.99 each. As promised, a bright shade for this weeks NOTW with Sinful Colors Island Coral.

As the name suggests, Island Coral is a bright summery coral shade which is perfect for this time of the year. For a budget polish, you get a lot of product in the bottle with 15ml compared to a Nails Inc which has 10ml. I really love the contrast against my pale skin but I also think this shade would be perfect with a tan. It's one of those shades that suits all.

The formula is exactly what I like, easy to move around and the brush is a pretty standard size; perfect for my small nails. Normally with pink shades like these you'd expect multiple coats but I find two is just enough to be fully opaque. Though I did have to add a third coat on my pinky to hide a white mark on my nail.

If you're looking to stock up on lots of polishes, definitely give them a try. With every polish brand there's always going to be good and bad ones but the majority I've tried have been of a great quality.

What are you wearing on your nails this week?
