July Favourites

July is coming to an end so it's now time for some favouriting. This month we've had both of our birthdays so it's been a really fun month and we've been spoilt by sunshine. This months favourites are all about keeping cool during the heatwave. Here's what I've been loving in the month of July.


I try to switch up my perfumes and this month I've been loving the Lancome La Vie Est Belle Perfume. It's sweet without being too sickly sweet and it's different to anything I own. It's also an eau de parfum so you literally need the tiniest spray and it lasts all day. Handy because I can spritz it when I'm on my way out without needing to take it with me and weighing my bag down!

With the heatwave we've been having lately, I thought it best to pick up my trusty Sure Maximum Protection Deodorant. I feel like this is the most reliable antiperspirant for the warm weather and feels much more comfortable to apply than roll ons. I've been trying to make the switch from spray deodorants and I feel like this is a little better for the environment. This is my 4th repurchase so it's definitely a staple in my routine.

Speaking of the heatwave, there was one night where it was so incredibly warm and the La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water pretty much saved me from melting in the heat! It's such a refreshing mist and I've pretty much used it to the very last drop. A repurchase from Escentual is definitely on the cards!

I've been really impressed by the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara* that I've been wearing it pretty much everyday. The main thing that impressed me is that it isn't even a waterproof mascara but it's lasted so well through the heat and the brief moment when I got caught in a rainstorm. It definitely changed my opinion on drugstore mascaras and I'll definitely be picking up a new one when it runs out.

Not pictured but I pretty much have an obsession with the Lipton Peach Iced Tea. So much to the point where I ordered the peach iced tea mix from America a while back which to my disappointment hasn't been in stock in months! The bottles are pretty hard to find until Summer time so I was very excited to be given a bunch of them as part of a birthday present. So good!
