Top 5 Favourites from Lush

I think everyones first experience with Lush is picking up all different bath bombs and face masks, it took a while for me to get into their skincare and other products. These days I save the bath bomb hauls for Christmas sale time but I thought I'd share my Top 5 Lush Favourites of the moment, including lots of skincare, everyones favourite shower gel and a solid shampoo.

If you're a sensitive skin sufferer, you need to pick up Ultrabland. I was first given this at a Lush event but since then I've repurchased it around 4-5 times if that explains how much I love it! It's a great alternative to more expensive balm cleansers and really helps soothe irritated skin. Scent wise, it isn't the best but when it comes to skincare, scent should be the last thing on the list!

I was originally put off by the idea of solid shampoos but as soon as I gave them a try, I fell in love. The one I'm using now is called New; a stimulating and refreshing shampoo bar with cinnamon, clove and peppermint. The way you use them is to simply wet the bar, rub it on your wet hair, lather and rinse out. At £5.50 I thought it was pretty expensive but I can easily use a single bar for around 3-6 months. I'd recommend it to students or anyone on a budget.
On the opposite end of the price scale at £15.95, Ro's Argan Body Conditioner* is much more of a skincare treat. If you've ever heard of in-shower body lotions, this is exactly that. I'm not usually a fan of rose scents but the nutty ingredients like almond oils and brazil nut balance it out really well, leaving much more of a sweet scent rather than full on florals. Perfect for pre-night out preparation for seriously smooth and soft skin. It's not one I could justify repurchasing regularly but it will be such a treat when I do!
Now this one is a little unfair as it's a Christmas exclusive, but how could I not add the Snow Fairy Shower Gel to the list? As soon as the Christmas sale started I made sure to stock up on this stuff so I could enjoy it year round. If you've never tried it, it's basically a sugary sweet shower gel which everyone goes crazy for. Lush even have a "Where's Snow Fairy?" section in their FAQ! It's usually in the shops around late September so we don't have too long to wait!

Did anyone always pick up a Lush times when they went in store? I always loved reading through the reviews and one product that always seemed to have the highest rating was Dream Cream*. Now I don't suffer from eczema so I never thought it would be for me but if it's good enough for sensitive skin then it's good enough for everyone. The texture is light so it's easy to rub into the skin and it has a sort of cooling effect which is really lovely on dry areas. If you've ever tried Angels on Bare Skin, it has the exact same scent.
That is my top 5 Lush favourites. I think Lush can be pretty overwhelming at first but I'd definitely urge you to give these all a go!
