Bioderma Hydrabio Moisturising Mask

I always used to think moisture masks were only for dry skin and it would be pointless giving them a go. In actual fact, those with oily skin can really benefit from using them. Often, oily skin tends to be dehydrated and produces more oil to compensate so it really does make sense to bring back the moisture. I'm a big fan of the Bioderma Hydrabio range which I previously reviewed so when I heard they had a Hydrabio Moisturising Mask*, I knew it would be good.

If you've never tried anything from the Hydrabio range before, it's basically a very gentle, hydrating skincare range which is suitable for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin. You won't find any sort of fragrance or unnecessary ingredients.

Compared to the other products in the range I've tried, the Hydrabio Moisturising Mask feels like a slightly richer version of the Rich Cream, yet it's still not too heavy. You simply apply a generous layer, let it work it's magic for 10 minutes then wipe off the excess. However for my skin, I feel like it soaks in all the moisture that there's nothing left to remove!

I also think this would be a great mask for travelling if you like to have a little pamper on the plane. It dries invisible and feels really comfortable on the skin so you won't scare any fellow passengers! As for the results, I find it's more of a quick fix than a long term solution which is quite typical for face masks. If your skin really needs that boost of moisture, definitely pick this up when you can.
