DeNami Patterned Paper Blog Hop

Now, onto the fun stuff!

Today we’re incorporating patterned paper in our projects and I thought why not do that with a fun treat for an end of the year gift for a teacher or classmate! I started with a glassine bag and stamped the strawberry image from the Tropical Fruit petit four stamp set using dye based ink randomly on the bag.

Next I scored a scrap piece of cardstock in half and adhered a piece of striped patterned paper. I stamped the You are Sweet sentiment using VersaFine ink in Onyx Black and stamped another strawberry in red. After I filled the glassine bag with my favorite strawberry flavored “Lucky Candy”, I folded down the top to seal off and adhered the bag topper using double sided adhesive on both flaps. You can also use your tiny attacher or regular stapler as well!

Finally to finish off the goodie bag, I wrapped a piece of red jute twine and tied it off in a bow. These really are easy to make and are fun to give away!
