June Gloom

Here is a public service announcement for all you that want to come to California for their beaches in June. Don’t do it. Ironically enough, June is the worst time to be at the beach in southern California. It’s usually overcast and COLD, as you can see from these pictures. We took our bikes down to Ventura a few weekends ago and rode along the pier for 15 minutes before high tailing it into the nearest restaurant for lunch and warmth. Had it been July, these shorts would have been the perfect biking ensemble.

Landyn and I are spending the day at Disneyland tomorrow. Its been a few years since I’ve taken her and I really think she’s at the perfect age to experience the Disney magic. I’ll be back next week with some recaps.
