Halloween Week: Sweet Pumpkin Pie

hi everyone, happy October!

It’s that time of year for festive decorations, cards, projects and layouts!

I’m (Leslie) here today to share a little festive Halloween layout using the gorgeous copper & black

hues from the LUXE line that’s sure to make any pumpkin sparkle!

This layout is actually quite simple, if you look closely….

I started with punching circles in many different sizes (1″, 1.5″, 2″) from each of the LUXE patterned papers in copper & black.

I also punched circles in black and white cardstock as well.

This project is actually a lot like a puzzle. I played around with each piece until I found exactly where I wanted it to go.

I used a 3D glue dot to make some of my circles stand up, giving them a 3D effect.

You might notice a couple of my LUXE copper hearts have a black hue to them.

I used Heidi Swapp’s Color Shine in Black Velvet, let it set for a few minutes, then wiped off with a baby wipe.

The color stayed where the white stripes are, but wiped right off the copper…giving it a dark black appearance.

Then I finished up by rubbing some of the LUXE rub on’s in several locations of my layout.

Title, photo of your choice (I used my sweet niece, Presley at the pumpkin patch last year) then journaling…
