A heart worth sharing...NEEDLEPOINT GINGHAM Pattern!
I have some projects that will keep me busy over the summer .... I will be working on at least 3 for our see you in September hop.. details HERE...
Shari is cheering us on for this one....and already she is so worthy of her POM POMS...
Meanwhile, I have to gather some ideas... here is one I will be working on...
I have been searching for some patterns in needlepoint to keep my hands busy over the summer... and certainly not without trying I could not locate a simple gingham heart... how shocking ? lol
I know for those who are not as gingham obsessed as I am.... my apologies...you can stop reading right now wink.... For those who are enjoying my gingham journey...carry on ....
I ordered the needlepoint canvas... drew a heart, painted it, chose some wool I gathered from my stash... and I am ready....
I have made 2 of these, one to practice on first to see if this wool will work....
Yes my photos are in the wrong order, aren't they? This is where I painted using acrylic paint that I watered down, so it would not plug up the stitching holes..
But I am trying to hurry this post, I have a DATE today... I am heading out to get my hair done and then I am meeting with my beloved and we are heading out to a TASTING.... An event whereby 20-25 chefs create their fav dish and we get to sample them... I feel like a kid I am so excited.... CREATING memories....
My Santa, is coming along nicely....I still have the left, top and bottom to fill with white wool....I think I will outline him after I get with some black thread to give him a bit more depth...
Looking for inspiration on RBD newest Quilted Cotton fabric collection.. Cheer on these pretty amazing quilters and designers.... Their talent is over the top....
