Maxi love

With the sun hitting our skies as of late my wardrobe can't help but get excited for the Summer. One of the best items to have from now onwards is the reliable Maxi dress. When I was packing for Spain at the start of this month I knew it wasn't going to be plain sailing as April's weather can be pretty unpredictable. What I did know was that this number which I had received from Littlewoods Ireland was certainly going in the suitcase. It was perfect for evenings or on a cooler day.

The dress is double lined so it was extremely comfortable but if you were to venture to somewhere extremely warm like Dubai this maxi might be a little too heavy.
I added this belt from New Look myself as I wasn't keen as to how the material around the waistline was sitting which can happen with Maxi dresses. It was also a nice addition to help break up the pattern.

When it comes to sandals for this dress blacks and browns work well as a neutral tone. I had these Steve Madden beauties with me which are extremely comfortable. Usually I wouldn't indulge in a matching shoes and a belt combination but it worked in this situation. The soles of these sandals have an extra cushioned layer which made them a dream to walk in, highly recomended!
