#31DC2014 ~ Day 10 Gradient

Gradient time! Gradients have become my favorite nail design, because they are easy to do and so much fun to look at. I totally love the look of a monochromatic gradient, as this one by Deborah from LoveVarnish. So I decided to recreate it for day 10 of the 31 Days Challenge.

Per usual, my base was 2 coats of OPI - Alpine Snow. I then sponged on the gradient according to this tutorial by the Nailasaurus using Alpine Snow and Essie - Licorice. To add something extra, I applied one coat of the red, black and white glitter topper Midnight Affair by Lush Lacquer (now called Polish Me Silly).
The gradient did not come out as smooth as I had liked, but still I like the look of it. And the glitter topper goes so well with it! I am in love with this manicure and again I do not want to take it off...
