Blossom lips: Giambattista Valli for MAC, out Summer 2015

Well, when Signor Valli put it that way, do I really need to say anything else?

Summer 2015 sees MAC bring a lovely collection by Giambattista Valli. The Italian designer’s line of lipsticks has five lovely shades and a lipgloss, and it will hit the shelves as blossoms bloom.

Valli, who is famed for his dresses, said he loves the idea of “dressing lips. The designer is also known for his flowery designs, and he does not disappoint and delivers flora-inspired lip shades, from light pink to deep plum, passing through light orange (mandarin), deep pink (peony) and a warm red created from a single cherry he delivered to the MAC team!

And, the bullet matches the colour of the lippy – I tell you what, that would save me a few minutes in the morning when I scramble through my all black sea of MAC lipsticks.

Lovely colours for SS15, I say, and of course, I have my eye on the red, and that orange also looks quite amazing!
