dressing the bump: 33 weeks

Lindsay and I cheesing it up at #influenceconf
By the looks of things, a stranger would innocently assume I was ready to pop a couple of weeks ago. But, no. Moriah Sunde likes to birth huge babies. Let's see how much more this belly can stretch in the next 7 weeks, shall we?
Once I hit the 30 week mark, managing this girly figure started to get a little more uncomfortable. The majority of my clothes no longer fit, but I was determined to stay away from purchasing maternity pieces with only a couple of months left to go. I decided to get creative and start researching clothing that could serve me well during these last few weeks of pregnancy and help carry me into those dreaded postpartum months during the winter.
My first must-have clothing item on the list: a kimono. Pretty much like a bath robe, right? Well, that's how I see them. Any who, after tweeting out my fashion needs to friends on Twitter, Kim directed me to Riff Raff, an online boutique/brick and mortor shop that not only had the perfect kimono to suit my needs, but many other pieces that could be worn for the remainder of my pregnancy and beyond. I quickly stocked up on several beautiful (and very comfortable) pieces to wear for my trip to The Influence Conference.

One of my most comfortable outfits from the conference was when I got to wear my bath robe kimono with my favorite Anthropologie dress. I was referred to, several times, as a gypsy mama, a peace goddess, and a fortune teller. I think all of those names were fairly accurate and summed up my outfit pretty well:

dress // anthropologie kimono // c/o riffraff necklace // c/o amy cornwell bump // c/o joseph sunde

So, preggo ladies: what's your fall uniform? Aside from my husband's pajama pants, and this gypsy mama get-up, I've mainly been wearing men's t-shirts, maternity jeans, and stretchy flats. I'm excited to start wearing more cozy cardigans and long-sleeve tunics in the coming weeks as the Minnesota temps continue to drop! I've also got my eyes on some suede booties, after seeing Hayley showing some off on her Instagram! However, those probably won't be purchased until after Baby Boy arrives and I have my balance back...
