Scooting right along.

After a week straight of rain and sleet - It was really wonderful to enjoy a sunny & bright Saturday morning.
Great sales with a few great finds were waiting. There were some things that Quandie and I couldn't leave behind. Can you blame us?

Yes, we filled the truck. Linda found a vintage suitcase wonderland.

I contemplated, I really did. For about 4 minutes. We've never seen true vintage scooter at a garage sale. I tend to remember the things that are rather cool, but we just don't see. Being that this was one of those things - I couldn't pass it up. I haggled the price down to $25 and bought it from the original owner. She told me the story about how she used to race with her big brother. He'd get up to speed, then dump off!
Gotta love his initials painted on the bottom. In the end, it scooted right into my hands.

Amazingly, we found the bulk of this haul in about 2 hours time. Pretty great!
