History and Geography Meme # 137: September's Back to School Highlights



This month we have really been enjoying beginning our World Geography and Culture series using the book, World Food Cafe by Chris and Carolyn Caldicott as our spine. We have studied: Northern Africa and focused on Morocco

Egypt and the Levant

Oman, The Middle East

Mali and West Africa


We also began our history studies this year by back tracking a little bit and learning about some of the peoples that lived at the same time as the Ancient Romans such as
The Celts
and the Barbarian Tribes


We also started back with our Squished Penny Geography Album, finishing off our virtual trip to Hawaii and beginning our mainland tour with West Virginia.

This month has been a very busy one for you all!
