2014 Collection by Umbra Shift Umbra Shift, an extension of a Toronto-based housewares company Umbra is led by Tom Chung, whose student work appeared on our website before. This time Tom, along with a team of talented designers, presents a collection of beautiful, innovative products. We love the colour combinations and the consistency of the collection. The each piece looks marvellous on its own, but they're even more impresive as a group. "Umbra Shift revisits these roots with a roster of established, emerging, and in–house designers who share Umbra’s passion to re-think things, designing personal objects they themselves would want to give or use at home. The result is a collection that expresses diverse points of view, yet sits together with a shared belief in ideas that are functional, familiar and forward thinking."
