WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!

I am over the moon. We just moved into our home this weekend, and I couldn't be more ecstatic. This whole process just sort of, happened. We weren't necessarily looking to buy anytime soon, but I'm notorious for scowling the current real-estate. One of my favorite things to do, especially during busy season, is take a break from work, go get a coffee, roll down the windows and just drive. Sometimes out in the middle of nowhere, and sometimes through the city picking out my favorite houses. I saw an ad for this house and it only contained one image. The picture honestly made it seem small and boring, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to just drive by. I was happily pleased to see the photo did not do it any form of justice. When we pulled up to the house I instantly had "that feeling". You know, the one you get sometimes when things just feel right. We peeked in all the windows and fell in love with the open space and hard wood floors. After two months of a million phone calls, emails, and paper work, we're moving in and starting the process of making it feel like home.

This is our first home we've ever bought, so it's an odd, yet exciting feeling to know that we're going to be here for quite awhile. The longest we've stayed in one place is 1 1/2 years, so it's exciting to think of all the memories we're going to make here. Our lives the next few months are going to involve lots of painting, rearranging, projects, house parties, barbecues, and front porch hangs.
