OOTD: Playing with Stripes
Or just lugged around casually.
I had bought this Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Stripe Medium Tote from Shopbop when they had a 20%-off-every-$200-spent sale. Add in to that free international shipping, how could I have said no? Say hello to a new fan of that online store!
The tote was originally meant for my beach getaway (in a few days!), but since it arrived earlier than expected, I decided to take it for a spin. I love how light the bag is despite its size, and how the gold-tone hardware adds that little bit of glam into this casual piece. The black and white stripes add some colour and mood to the entire outfit and the saffiano leather means another texture overall. Because the leather is pretty soft, a base is needed to keep the bottom in shape and prevent it from sagging. I got mine custom-made!
