That one time…

That one time when Collin and I showed up for the Carnival with no cash. And seeing that they don’t accept debit cards or… checks (not that I have any of those anyway) we were officially in trouble. You can imagine the terror of a 3 year old hearing this news. I mean, I was pretty scared. All the other parents were throwing ping ping balls into cups of water and darts at balloons–winning their kids gigantic stuffed animals. While Collin and I emptied out our pockets and had enough for a few rides… even somehow squeezed in some cotton candy.

Put together a mini album of our carni adventures i.e. Operation Get Photos Off My Computer.

It all came together when I figured out the cover. I Printed a photo on watercolor paper. The best setting I have found for this is to set the paper setting to matte photo paper. Next I watercolored on the photo. I use Simply Art Watercolors because I love all the range of shades. Then soak your brush and work swirl over colors. Even add a touch more water to your brush depending on the look you want. Wait for it to dry and add a title.
