THE BEST OF NYFW FW14 STREETSTYLE MENSWEAR
JAPANESE-INSPIRED
Perhaps the most inaccessible collection from
Marc Jacobs' menswear collections thus far, due to its wildly graphical to sportswear. The obi-inspired overcoats were my favorite pieces -- there is an undeniable simplicity and elegance to them that would look great as a standalone or outer layer.

MAD HATTER
Robert Geller's FW14 menswear collection is, for lack of a better word, everything. The chic take on Mad Hatter style has my innards quivering with joy. Again, the main trend takeaway here is elevating the basics while keeping it sublimely simple.

GLORIFIED KNITWEAR
Leave it to
Tim Coppens' FW14 menswear collection to finally make the statement that oversized, architecturally-exaggerated scarves have arrived and are here to stay. It's a strong statement considering that men are rather slow to embrace change and the range of sartorial freedom offered to them, but Tim Coppens' has made all that much easier with unrivaled wearability.

LUXE CASUAL
Tom Ford's signature aesthetic has always been about the decadent, polished and moody man. With his
FW14 menswear collection, Tom retains all those characteristics while giving it a street casual accessibility. The buttery leather and lush shearling jackets are nevertheless visually stunning. Flawlessness at its best!
