THE BIG LEAP WITH LACOSTE

"Life is a beautiful sport.”

- Lacoste "The Big Leap" (2014)

The newest Lacoste campaign really struck a chord with me, since it so closely relates to a crucial turning point in my life and where I am today.

Having left my full time, marketing management position approximately three months ago, I've embarked on a challenging journey of ups and downs in pursuit of working with a roster of clients in need of digital media consultancy while nurturing my growing, passion project, otherwise known as my blog.

I’ve always considered myself more as an old soul, always safe, always reserved. Even through my collegiate years where I learned to be independent and adapt to an entirely new environment, I naively thought procuring an elite education would secure immediate success.

I quickly learned, upon graduation and thereby thrusted into the real world, that success was far from linear. I learned to appreciate the steep curves of twists and turns. I learned to embrace, and not define, myself through failures and mistakes. More importantly, I learned that, sometimes, you just have to take that leap of faith into the uncertainty that lies ahead.

Although the path towards a liberating, freelance career hasn’t been easy, I can honestly say that it has been truly fulfilling in more ways than expected. I took a leap that was knowingly scary and uncertain but have not looked back since then. I hope, you, my amazing readers, take this encouragement to heart and know that you too can do it.

If you'd like, feel free to share any big leaps you've taken in the past or present. Let me know how it impacted your life in the comments below!

This is a sponsored post with Lacoste, but these deep, revealing thoughts are my own.
