HANDS-ON: LOUIS VUITTON AW14 AND ICONS COLLECTION

Prior to our departure to Hawaii (and before we go into an epic recap of our trip), we embarked on a journey through Louis Vuitton's latest Autumn/Winter 2014 menswear collection - including selected shoes, bags and other accessories from their ICONS collection. Here's what we discovered:

Ever evolving, the Louis Vuitton brand continues to tie in themes of physical and spiritual travel - starting with an emblematic hot air balloon and even reviving the popular, Stephen Sprouse pattern for this collection.

Our journey continued on with some deep sole searching, starting with these suede high tops with a peace sign twist on the signature LV logo. Almost 2/3rds of them have already sold since its debut just a mere two weeks ago. They also conveniently happen to be on our wish-lists already.

Louis Vuitton really demonstrates that not all shoes are made equal. The level of detail and quality of materials dedicated to the construction of each pair is unparalleled. As tactile individuals and shoppers, our hands melted to the touch of velvety suede and coated leather finishes.
